Join World Pulse's Kenyan representative, Leah Okeyo at AWID session: No One Speaks for Me, I Speak for Myself: Navigating New Technologies to Transform Gender Equality on April 20, 2012 at 14:30-16:00. With the belief that every woman deserves the freedom and forum to speak for herself and build a global network of support, this workshop will train participants to harness the power of Web 2.0 through World Pulse’s online community platform, PulseWire to connect across borders and accelerate change. AWID Forum, the largest recurring event of its kind, brings together 2,000 women’s rights leaders and activists from around the world every three to four years to strategize, network, celebrate, and learn in a highly charged atmosphere that fosters deep discussions and sustained personal and professional growth.
