This fall, World Pulse is celebrating! There are new awards, new stages to amplify our community's global voice, and new opportunities for you to connect directly with women leaders around the world and make change. That change is something we celebrate on a daily basis as the voices and impact of World Pulse ripple across the planet. World Pulse was recognized as an important respite from cyber violence by The New York Times' Editor's Blog and the U.N. Broadband Commission for Digital Development, in a new report released 24 September: "Cyber Violence Against Women and Girls: A World-Wide Wake-Up Call."
The New York Times' Editor's Blog writes that "creating a safer and more equitable Internet won’t just be about stopping bad behavior—as the report notes, it’s also important to actively promote gender equality and women’s participation. The report’s authors praise groups like World Pulse that encourage women to speak out online, and call on tech companies to elevate more women to positions of power." Visit our Newsroom for links to the article and report.

AVA Digital Award
This quarter, World Pulse's new platform won not just one, but two more website awards, for a total of three since we launched in January! We have received a Platinum AVA Digital Award for digital excellence, a Silver Best in Biz Award for Website of the Year, and a Silver Stevie International Business Award for Non-Profit Organization Website. We thank our funders and our website development team for their work on our website; we are grateful to receive such recognition.
Last year, World Pulse crowd-sourced voices from around the world during one of our most inspiring campaigns ever: the Women Weave the Web Campaign. The stories have now been analyzed and united into a powerful set of recommendations for individuals in all sectors worldwide to carry forward. Watch your inboxes this fall and please share with your networks that this important report is coming! World Pulse will be delivering the recommendations to many key influencers to ensure gender inclusivity in all digital products and policies.
Take advantage of a multitude of opportunities to partner with World Pulse woman leaders to create social change. We are looking for leadership and life coaches, professional photographers, writers and videographers, cross cultural trainers, and/or those with rich expertise in a professional field. If that describes you, consider volunteering your time. The life that's changed might just be yours! Please also help us get the word out by sharing these opportunities with your networks.
Just last week, Women For One—a sister community of women who share stories and inspire action—published an in-depth interview with World Pulse Founder Jensine. This interview highlights why we urgently need to invest and empower woman globally and how we are going to change the world. Many World Pulse community member stories are highlighted as well, including Neema Namadamu in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Urmila Chanam in India. Watch the interview here!
