There live a grand master who had all the secret tips to fortune premonition. He knew the secret codes every one created could use to become wealthy. He is now Old and feeble and the worse dilemma is that he does not have an heir to take on the business.

Would his secret die with him?

Three friends; Koko, Koi and Lima decided to visit the grand master separately to see if he will reveal his secret to them.

Koi visited the grand master. They both  exchanged pleasantry. Koi later asked him to hand over his secret," since you're going to die very soon and you have no heir, reveal your secret of fortune premonition to me" He said. The grand master did not utter a word. Koi realise that his visit wasn't going to yield anything and he left angrily.

Koko visited the grand master and asked for the secret to be revealed to him. He simply walked out on him and koko left for his house.

Would his secret die with him?

Lima visited and the gory sight of the mans house made him weep. His house was so dirty and he was also unkempt. He cleaned the house and forced the grand master to have his bath. He prepared a delicious pottage soap and they both feasted on the meal. He spent quality time with the master and when it was getting dark, he decided to take his leave.

The grand master gave him a locket and a box. He instructed him to open the box as soon as he reaches his room and he should follow all the instructions carefully.

The next day, the old man went to meet his ancestors.

We get to a point in life that what we do for others will be the reference point for our elevation not what we do for ourselves.

Most times we always want to be at the receiving end, we barely do things for other people which shouldnt be. We unconsciously compete with our fellow human all for fame.

Why not try something new today by putting a smile on someone face other than YOU.

Dearest Mentee, please in whatever you do, do not think of yourself alone.

I end today's letter with this quote from John.F. Kennedy "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".

Would love to hear your thought also.
