Six Months project, to create impact for generations

I'd like to inform you that I am in the United States for four months (August -December, 2013), sponsored by the State Government- the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State for a Community Solutions Program implemented by IREX; to gain professional development with U.S based Organization - Wellesley Centers for Women, Wellesley College, Massachusetts. My thematic area is Gender and Women ~ passion for life.

After this training, I am required to implement a 6months project effective January through June 2014; my initial project has been to construct a Community Library and Information Center that would benefit over 48 rural Primary and Secondary schools, over 5000 students per year and for generations; http://www.youcaring.com/nonprofits/amor-community-library-information-c... (this is 100% free online fundraiser accepting your donations)
I need support to accomplish this by June 2014, I need your donation or any form of support (spreading and share the information with people who could support this cause)

The Community Library and Information Center we intend to construct in Amor village is a combination of
1. Community Library, to benefit pupils, students, teachers and tutors from over 48 schools and researchers(to benefit over 5000 students a year and to serve generations)
2. Community Hall to serve as a shelter where the parents, community leaders and school representatives could sit and discuss important issues related to the development of their society, including girl child education, farming, micro-finance.We usually hold meetings under the tree; often disrupted by rain and sunshine. The hall would also serve as a training/workshop, research/survey center.

We need $15,000 to construct a Community Library and Information Center to benefit the Rural Ugandan schools and communities.
Most of the schools are made of mud and wattle structures, they do not have libraries, some schools have just a few reference books, some do not have at all.
This has led to academic struggles which has led to poor performance; one of the reasons as to why so many girls and boys are dropping out of school.
A report from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) shows that Uganda has the highest school drop-out rate for females in East Africa, staggering at 71%.
\"One of the causes of School dropout in Uganda is Lack of sensitization in the community about education and two of the remedies are: 1.Sensitize children about importance of education. 2. Work with parents to keep children in school.\" Arise Foundation.

The $15,000 Community Library and Information Center we propose to you today is not a new project, it is a campaign under our Schools and Community Sensitization Project, http://pce-foundation.org/schoolsse.jsp.htm whose main objective is to sensitize and create awareness on the values of education in the rural schools and communities.
The Community Library and Information Center would in a year enable over 5000 students and pupils from over 48 schools (Primary and Secondary) to have access/share books, and have access to a descent reading/research environment.

This $15,000 Campaign with additional funding elsewhere includes the construction of a mini Community Hall/Common meeting hall where the parents, community leaders and school representatives could sit and discuss important Information and issues for the development of their society, including girl child education. We usually hold meetings under the tree, often disrupted by rain and sunshine. The hall would also serve as a training/workshop, research center not only to students but also to researchers and the local community based organizations.

****Fact: This campaign is a continuation of what began already; we've got 113 books donated for the library, 15 Chairs, 2 Tables, 2 Bookshelves BUT there is no physical Library Structure for the learners. We are keeping these books in someone's house. We really need your support.
Amor and the surrounding communities need the Library and the Mini Hall
