The morning show the daylight and it show your palm which you can view with all concern. My hand tell me the weight of what I can achieve in my days, only if I do the right thing to bring it to past. My hands are not dead, they can still carry things and do things that I can not imagine. My hands is shaping my world for me.How? I write and gesture with it. I made little things for myself with the same hands. they are tools for making my world. Leave anything for many days without touching it, then you will appreciate the importance of your hands. The dirt will settled on, it will decay and eventually be forgotten. Anything that hands touches comes alive because we have hope that our lives is in the hands of our creator. I have these hands to create my world. There is no economic venture that we place our hands upon which will not respond to dexterity of the hand, because the hands will mould it and design it. My Hands do create my world.

Adebowale,

What a beautiful description and metaphor for empowerment. Thoughts and good deeds may lie in our minds, but not until we manifest those thoughts through our hands into physical action, do we make a difference and come alive.

Cheers, Jade

Hello Adebowale,

Beautiful to consider, what will my hands create today? For me, I spend much time typing. My arms are sore, my hands sometimes ache, I type anyway, especially on PulseWire. There is so much power here to release into voice, so much potential.

Another thing that the hands can do, is to Embrace. Your post made me think about the power of hugging hands, healing touch, the power of the heart as transmitted through the hands, the hands as connection to our community and world.

Thank you for sharing. I could see your hands in the morning light, and your clear eyes asking your sharp mind -- what will my hands create today?

All the best, Corine

I love the image you give, as well as the understanding behind it. I love what you said about your hands doing things you cannot even understand. What a beautiful reminder that we are not always in control, that our best movements happen when we let ourselves be guided by the energy that surrounds us!
