Fresh Riots In Kenya.

Darkness is looming in Kenya again as fresh riots are being experienced in parts of the country. In Kibera,a slum area of Nairobi, there was a picture that pierced our otherwise "healing" wounds.Fire was burning!and teargas and gunshots reigned the air.The railway line, again this time, was damaged.

Kisumu town in South Nyanza was not business as usual, for there were riots.Business came to a standstill as the people feared loss and injury as has been previously experienced.

The US Secretary of State,Condoleezza Rice, called both the PNU and ODM leaders but Kenyans do not yet have details of the conversation that transpired.

People living with HIV/AIDS could be insecure.Only recently the Government "assured" this community that Antiretroviral drugs would be available, opposing the allegation that there was likelihood of a shortage in the next five months. We need assurance of the availability of drugs, especially when fresh riots errupt.

The parties should come to a consensus and this unrest must stop! We need our sunshine, for we cannot continue to live in the darkness.
