About Me: I'm a woman who believes in girl power! I know women ROCK no matter what the circumstances are! I have vast experience in communication for behaviour change especially among young people. I also have experience in HIV prevetion programing. I'm passionate about teenage issues especially girls in developing countries. Teenage comes with many changes that we adults tend to ignore. Yet we know that decisions made during this stage affect the quality of their future lives. I believe we can work together to establish strong reinforcing systems and programs to inspire, engage and motivate young people to keep focused.

My Passions: Making friends, reading inspirational books and movies

My Challenges: Many injustices against young people, very little being done to avert the situation

My Vision for the Future: A society where young people are empowered to realise their capacity and comitment to lead purposeful lives.

My Areas of Expertise: Behaviour change communication and HIV programing

Dear Katie, Thanksyou so much for the kind words. And thanks for sharing these links with me. I will definately learn a lot from them and find ways of networking. One thing though, while HIV/AIDS is still a big issue here in Uganda, our view at TEU is that its underlying causes should be takled first before dealing with the symptom. Our program therefore looks at holistic empowerment through character development to be able to deal with a range of varied challenges they face HIVAIDS being part of the challenges. I will definately share more as we keep intouch. Thanks once again Betty
