VOF Week 4:(Divine Feminine Divinely Connected)

It is indeed a great pleasure to realize that women are unique creatures.We were created with inner strength to play an important role in the plan of God for His world.We are the soul of our families, communities, societies and the world at large.When women are put in their rightful position, they are able to perform this role beautifully and the world becomes a beautiful place to live in. I gave this title;'divinely connected' to this week's assignment because this is the way I see my connection with World Purse. As a fulfilled married woman, mother and somebody who has served her nation faithfully for twenty years as a civil servant, my vision for the rest of my life now is to serve God and humanity (mainly women). This I wish to achieve by having a center called 'Women Inspiration Center'. In the center, I wish to have a recreational center where women could come together after a tiring day at work to relax, chat with each other, play together, share their struggles and strengths. This is because I found out that majority of women don't relax and many keep on struggling with their problems alone till these problems consume them. In the center also, there would be a Home where old women that are under priviledged would be taken care of. Being in the midst of others will help them to live the rest of their lives in the midst of loved ones.

There would also be a home in the center taking care and rehabilitating the adolescent single mothers the rate is becoming alarming now in my country due to the level of poverty at the grass root. There would be a cyber cafe in the center for women to have access to internet to connect with other women all over the world.Also the team of counsellors working in the center would be going from village to village,institutions, secondary schools to educate women on the potentials in them and how they can maximize those potentials.
Finally, it will also be a place of refuge for women that are abused or harassed. There would be a local magazine in the center that would be carrying our vioces across the nation. This is to help the women in my community and nation to work together in unity for themselves, to be able to raise their heads and voices in the faces of oppositions and stiff competitions
Already, connecting with World Pulse is a great blessing because I have been able to raise my voice and have access to other people experiences round the world and how to face these challenges. As a correspondence of the world purse, it will offer me limitless opportunity in the struggles for gender equality. as I am contributing internationally, it will help my work locally because of the experiences I would be gathering from other people. I would come into limelight on issues that concern women across the globe which will be a dream comes true. My passion that this world be made safe for girls and women would be realized through our voices coming together in the World Purse strongly and all the countries in the world would not be able to withstand our pressure. I would have the opportunity of my articles being published by an international magazine and the whole world would know what is happenning in my community. Finally coupled with my being a Guidance Counsellor, I would also become a renowned journalist.
