Sharing World Pulse with Women Journalists in my Community

Becoming a World Pulse Ambassador is one of the best honours I have received on World Pulse, after winning the World Pulse Voices of Our Future, 2016.

And in the exciting experience of sharing about World Pulse to women I engage and work with, I seek to reach a minimum of 1000 women and girls to connect them online and share the amazing World Pulse platform to them to inspire them to connect their voices with a vibrant community of women leaders from around the world.

Thanks to World Pulse and the great tools that I have accessed here, I have a remarkable story of impact in my community and I often use my story to share about World Pulse to women and girls in my community.

I recently shared about World Pulse to women journalists at the local radio station, 99.9 Kiss FM in Abuja, Nigeria. And this engagement was particularly special to me because my digital empowerment training with these women was impactful for the individual women, while also contributing to the organizational goal of the station to empower its women and broadcast such empowerment platforms to other women.

We had a great outing with the women and this was further enriched with the Skype call they shared with the amazing Stella Paul who shared her remarkable journalism journey and how World Pulse helped to take her career to a higher level that reached a global audience.

I am also grateful to my Sister and Colleague, Ritkatmwa Gwan who assisted me to coordinate with the women and also share her World Pulse journey.

The fire has been ignited and I am inspired to reach women any and everywhere. World Pulse is a rich platform providing women with useful tools and resources and connecting women's voices towards global change. And I share this amazing platform with women and girls in my community and around the world.
