Web 2.0 and the Power Set in the Stone

I am climbing, climbing, climbing on my road bike up the steep hill, feeling the inspiration build inside. This is a place where I often receive my greatest inpsirations for my writing. Pondering, feeling my body respond to the challenge, sensing my breath, carrying me along and into my vision.

The image which comes to me on this particular day, as I am riding, regarding Web 2.0 and the vehicle it represents for all of our voices, was the story of the Excalibur sword set in the stone, waiting for that magic to happen. Just the right person must come by, remove it and free it to do what a sword does...to honor, serve and protect. Each one of us is that magical person which may walk by that stone, on our respective journey's, reach out and grab it, the opportunity to use our voices in this venue of Web 2.0. Change and awareness abounds in this sphere. We may evoke all emotions as the truths unfold. Be open, we must. Be brave, we must. Empower, we must. In order to heal we must open to feeling and hearing each other's triumph's, challenges, miracles, and atrocities. This experience must encompass the polarities in order to bring balance once again to humanity. Experiences happen to us. They do not define us, but they give us reference to know what we want or don't want. They give us the spring board to fascilitate change. It may be the most euphoric or the most horrific, it is all needed in our circle, we must hear it all and we must feel each other's pulse2010! One story at a time we will heal together, we will empower each other. I want to feel your pain and I want to feel your success.

We must celebrate the core of being woman, sharing our strength and humility to stand with our brother, man, so that he too can know and understand the compassion necessary to bring harmony, respect and balance. This is a new order. Web 2.0 is the platform on which we may stand, the world our audience. All we have to do is have the confidence and knowing that we are the ones who can raise the sword from the stone and shout our truth to the universe!
