One Thing Leads to Another

I vew my life as an ecclectic collection of miracles in the mix with much beauty but also the wear and tear of daily life. I have not been spared from experiencing death and loss, nor birth and abundance. I am a single mother of three outragously different children, two daughters and a son. I learn more about myself every day from being a parent. I listen for, and put out the intention to be involved with matters both professionaly and personally which touch me at the core of my being. The stories are endless as the web continues, so as I would begin, there would be no ending, at least in this particular assignment. This quest has led me to Pulse Wire and the opportunity to apply and be a part of Voices of our Future.
I was blessed as a child in that my parents supported and nurtured me to live my dream, not theirs. This freedom allowed me to dream big and mature in a way where my mind and spirit were open to experience life without limits. Seeking mentors wtih whom to share and learn from in this way have always been key in my journey. I knew I was to create. Lincoln logs were my tool as a youngster, my pen in drawing or writing as a middle/high schooler, and then my design studio as I studied architecture in college and now as one of my professions. As I was in college I took off a semester to travel abroad where my love and respect for different cultures broadened and the ink continued to flow. I journaled, I sketched and I connected with people from all over the world. Trains were my mode of transportation, as were my feet. It was a constant flow of being at the right place at the right time to meet that person for the next adventure, or it was that signal in my gut to say, keep moving, this is not the place or the time. My intuition grew strong. I learned at this very young age of twenty to trust and to follow my instincts. It is my belief that as woman, we have the ablitiy to connect more effortlessly and frequently with this inner guidance. As we do, the results are the purest form of direction and purpose grounded in an energy which transforms.
So this is my story. Listening to this voice. Tuning into the subtlest of details which lead me here or there to witness and be a part of this miracle of life. To share the simple gestures of a smile, of the inspiration which guides me to raise my pen, or to speak to a specific person. To feel the pulse, always. Never fearing that skip in the beat as it leads me to the next miracle which creates the ripple as the waves move to the shore, shake off their sea legs in order to make way for CHANGE!
