Note from World Pulse's Managing Editor

Thank you to everyone who participated in the My Story Writing Contest! You have all made this a huge success, and we're excited to begin the process of evaluating the nearly 100 entries we received. It's going to be tough to choose just six to eight for publication! Stay tuned for the announcement of the selections in the coming months.

While this contest has come to a close, I'd like to encourage each of you to continue using your PulseWire journal to tell your stories, to share your voice, and to connect with women across the globe. World Pulse looks to PulseWire as our newswire, and our editorial team often sources stories for our online and print magazines through this community.

We're constantly active on the site, looking for new and exciting stories to share with our audience. We'll never publish anything without first getting permission from the original author, so don't be afraid to use your PulseWire journal as a personal blog as well. We know that it's important to keep PulseWire a safe place, and understand that sometimes journal entries just aren't for the larger community's eyes.

Thanks again to all of you for your amazing interpretations of Land. I look forward to reading your words as you continue to share your stories and experiences with the community.

In partnership,

Corine Milano
Managing Editor
World Pulse Media

PS: Because this round has been so successful, My Story will be a continuing feature in our semi-annual (twice yearly) print magazine. The next My Story competition will likely be announced in mid-Summer 2010. We hope you'll all participate again!
