Activating Change

Part of the things I want to see changed in my community include access to education for all, improved healthcare, better credit facilities for women entrepreneurs and a good low-cost housing scheme.

However, achieving this is made difficult sometimes by lack of financing, a small action network and lack of support from government agencies and funding organisations that should usually be of help.

Through the use of offline and online networking groups like PulseWire, Facebook and Twitter, I have discovered that it is possible to bypass some of these organisations and effectively mobilise human, financial and logistic support for any such project I might plan.

As a member of the PulseWire community, I have become aware of the numerous possibilities offered by the Resource Exchange and Action Alerts. I intend to use these tools to the best of my ability in terms of sharing and interacting with the wide-reaching membership of the community.

This will no doubt be of personal, communal and global benefit to all of us involved and I’m glad to have such an opportunity. Change begins with each one of us and there’s no better place to activate and maximise that awareness than on PulseWire.
