Collaboration for the Congo???

I am working with several universities and have grant proposals in (response to an RFP) including specific intentions in the Congo for telemedicine and disease monitoring tools. This is something - based upon previous communications with this group - that could offer not only greatly expanded medical diagnostics and response tools, but also offer a mechanism by which we could offer basic nurses training to victimized women in that region.

Obviously an additional benefit would be that this could also help significantly in the emotional rehabilitation processes of the nurses being trained. Some of the university players I am in talks with have specific and significant interest in this concept.

I'd love to discuss all this with any of you and/or whom you feel would be appropriate. Interested?

Additionally, if anyone has any updates regarding the colostomy supplies we sent for use in the Congo, I would love to be able to offer a bit of who, what, why, where, when and how information to my contacts. The plight of the women there has generated significant interest in my circles and I feel we can begin to offer far more support soon. Anyone have any info?
