It is like taboo, when you talk about reproductive health in any of the developing countries, RH What is RH? Is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely The absence of disease or infirmity in all matters relating to the Reproductive system and to it is functions and processes. RH implies That people are able to have a satisfying and safe sex life and that They have the capability to reproduce and the freedom to decide if, When and how often to do so. RH care: Is the constellation of methods, techniques and services that contribute to RH and well being by preventing and solving RH problems? RH rights: Are rights of men and women, to be informed and to have access to safe , effective, affordable and acceptable family planning methods of their Choice .They include the right to method of their choice for regulation Of fertility which are not against the law, and to access appropriate health Care services that will enable women to go safely through pregnancy and Child birth and provide couples with the best chance of having a healthy Infant.These definitions were agreed to by 179 countries including Australia at
1994 International Conference on population and development in Cairo and Reaffirmed by Australia in 2005. RH illnesses: Include HIV and unintended pregnancies weaken and kill women and men. There are as many as 100million unwanted pregnancies each year .more than half a million women die each year from serious complications related To pregnancy and child birth. RH care services: 1: FP services. 2: ANC, including skilled attendance at delivery, post NC, management of Obstetric and neonatal complications and emergencies. 3: Prevention and treatment of reproductive tract infections and STIs Including HIV\ADIS. 4: Early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and reproductive tract Cancers. 5: Promotion, education and support for exclusive breast feeding. 6: Prevention and appropriate treatment of sub fertility and infertility. 7: Active discouragement of harmful practices such as female genital Cutting. 8: Adolescent sexual and RH 9: Prevention and management of GBV. 10: Management of abortion complications and prevention of post-abortion Care. In spite of all above mentioned,, we are still have the biggest figures in maternity deaths,,these due to many causes as bad social habits,,some governmetal opstructions also cultural background has big role in this.
