Introducing Trumpet Diva: Edwina Thorne



About Me:
A vibrant, versatile entertainer, EDWINA THORNE (B.A.Mus, M.B.A, Dip. Tchg), has released five albums and for 20years has taught music specializing in ensemble performance and instrumental tuition. Edwina is an excellent trumpeter, well trained in composition and improvisation from Berklee College of Music where she formed Thornebirds who performed at the New York Women’s Jazz Festival and noted in the book “Stormy Weather” about women in Jazz in America where Edwina lived for ten years. Edwina’s enormous experience and ability to facilitate any style of music motivates and supports participants to express themselves musically while enabling a cohesive sound to develop.
