Postcards from the Frontlines

Join the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) in our campaign for climate refugees: Postcards from the Frontlines (www.ejfoundation.org/postcards)

Postcards from the Frontlines is a unique social media campaign which aims to inspire over 100,000 climate witnesses and their supporters from around the world to send personalised postcards from their iphones or computers.

It is free to take part and the postcards will be delivered as real paper postcards to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon by Human Rights Day on 10 December 2013, calling on the United Nations to provide protection and recognition for people displaced by climate change.

Supporters are asked to share what home means to them, whilst climate witnesses are encouraged to share their experiences on the frontlines of climate change, whether or not they have lost their home to Hurricane Katrina in the US, their land to Cyclone Nargis in Bangladesh or their livelihood to desertification in Somalia.

Postcards can be submitted online via the ByPost app or website (www.bypost.com/postcards) or sent to EJF directly at hometruths@ejfoundation.org.
