A ROLE MODEL

A role model is someone people look up to
To see what you’re up to
Whatever your countenance
Would stir their acceptance

A role model set the pace
For others to trace
More in a positive direction
As a source of inspiration

Just anyone could be a role model
When you set your mind to model
Virtues that are commensurate
And a lifestyle which is accurate

It is therefore apparent
For role models to be current
To moderate effectively
Aspects that are worldly

Role models should exhibit humility
And also uphold divinity
Setting up principles
For their disciples

From their basic orals
Others can perceive their morals
They shouldn’t showoff with pride
And take others for a ride

Role models should articulate
And try to emulate
By portraying selflessness
Refraining from vile habits due to callousness

Role models should recall
Pride ‘goeth’ before a fall
In this wise
They should adhere to advise
