I thank God for the internet
Yes, it’s oh so true
I thank God for the internet and
I thank God for you!

There are emails
And forums
And chat to name a few.

There are greetings
And forwards
And fun pictures too.

All of this helps me
To stay in touch
With family and friends
I love so much.

I can share my thoughts
In the blink of an eye
Or pass on a message
That made me cry.

I can help a friend
Pass on a warning
Or share a prayer with millions
Every single morning.

So I thank God today
For blessing me with
this wonderful tool
This fabulous gift!

For the internet is a blessing
That helps us reach out
To virtually hold hands
With those we care about.

And while I’m talking about it,
I sent this poem to you
To let you know I was JUST
