Introducing myself and my journal: The Visible Woman

About Me:
When I was little, I decided it was pretty much safer if I remained invisible. Otherwise I was a target. Or, humiliated for being female. (What’s not okay about being born a girl?) Somewhere along the way, I made a contract with myself to remain invisible. I managed to survive. But it doesn’t work. I can’t earn a living if people can’t see me, nor can I have friends, or be anyone who is relevant within my family or my community. So, I’m breaking the code. I’m tearing up the contract. I am hereby announcing to myself and to the universe at large that I am now front and center, ready to be seen and heard.

I stand for embodied solutions to violence, especially in the home, because if its acceptable there, its acceptable everywhere. Circles of connections in a matrix of love echo into healing...

My project: THE WRITE TO HEAL ABUSE ANTHOLOGY

I'm accepting short little gems from women all over the world from now until Dec. 15, 2013: that Moment of Clarity when you knew beyond all doubt that even if you had no idea how to make it happen, enough was enough, you were getting out, come what may...

If you have been there, done that, writing your story is not only welcome - its vital to finding closure, to sharing about how to recognize the red flags, it helps other women get out so that they need not suffer what you did!

This is truly tapping into the mystery of life!
