Wheelchair for Jeanne Mulenga's HEAL Project

Skip Matthews visited us here at the Marianist Center for a few days to talk with the us and asking for old clothes which he intended to ship to Zambia. He had driven a pickup truck on his 400 mile trip from Los Angeles to Cupertino to see us.
Skip spent much time gathering material for use of those in need. The next morning he left this morning with a truck load of material to be discarded our buildings including bedding and much more. He drove back to give everything to a Good Shepherd Sisters Shelter for long term, treatment and education of battered women with children.
While Skip was here, he received an email from Jeanne Mulenga who has a project for people with AIDS called \"Heal Project\". This email to Skip was sent in gratitude for a wheel chair she had received from Skip.
Previously, Jeanne visited Skip in Los Angeles where she asked for a wheel chair. Four or five people associated with Jeanne's AIDS \"Heal Project\" have had polio and can only crawl on the ground. Jeanne wanted a wheel chair for Mr. Neva Mwamula who is one of those who cannot walk.
Skip wondered just how he could get a wheel chair and was even more concerned about how to get the chair to Zambia, but he finally succeeded in doing this.
The photo shows Jeanne with Mr. Mwamula who no longer has to crawl on the floor. He was very pleased with the wheel chair.. Take a look at the happy Jeanne and Mr. Mwamula:
