About Me: Neba Petra Lum: Lum is a young woman in her 20s, an undergraduate law student. She had her future all mapped out to be a lawyer or a teacher after her first degree. After enrolling into the faculty of law at the Douala University for a year, she dropped due to lack of finances. Lum began working for Adele Reproductive Health Foundation on HIV/AIDS as volunteer intern in February 23 2009 and is now the Health Coordinator for the organization. She has extensive experience working with vulnerable children and orphans of HIV and AIDS-orphans in underserved communitie. She has always been involved with youth activities related to HIV/AIDS and education in Bafut, where she has volunteered to teach and counsel her peers. She is also a staunch advocate of women’s rights and believes in the potential women have to become the solution of tomorrow. Lum graduated from Longla Comprehensive College with advanced certificate in History, and a concentration in philosophy. Lum use plays and skits to advocate HIV/AIDS issues and use that as a tool for fundraising.
