My Personal vision and the voice of the future correspondece

My personal vision is to be a successful career mother and wife who do not fail in her responsibilities at home and work. To be a gender analyst who through career development and advancement accomplishes a lot for the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and at the same time is a good mother and wife. To live a fulfilled life that is balanced between my career and family life with my time evenly distributed and no aspect of it suffering as a result of too much attention given to the other.
I aspire that my life will inspire other women to develop positive attitudes that will influence them into thinking out of the box and existing above the silent oppression that exists in our society as a result of the patriarchy system who in turn will inspire others to realize their dreams.
To my community, I want to be part of the vehicle that will carry hope to the women of my community. Hope to women who have existed in the shadow of their personality as a result of the patriarchal system, hope for the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. Hope for the end of all gender based violence.
To be an advocate for the female gender that will help women in my society discover their potentials, to teach women empowerment to women to enable them achieve their potentials and become economic independent. To empower them have a positive image of themselves which can spread through them to their community at large.
My personal vision for the world is a global village where there will be equal right to opportunities irrespective of gender, a world where gender does not count, where the women and men exist in equality with out any sex feeling superior to another, where it will be recognized that difference in gender is as only as a function of reproduction. World women are equal participants with their men counterparts in areas of governance, economic development, education etc without any form of discrimination.
I want to be a Voice of our future Correspondent because I want to lend my voice to the liberation of women across the globe who over the years have suffered oppression as a result of patriarchy starting with my community, being a correspondent will enable me add volume to the silent voices of millions of women around my country. I want to see women empowered through the web 2.0, to see their lives changed through it so they fight for their rights in their families, societies, schools, organization etc. through my writing and reporting of events happening in my country.
To narrate unheard stories of women in all crannies of my community, to speak and write about woes of both the rural and urban women and build a strong network of women on the web 2.0 through which we can share experiences and ideas on how to tackle issue affecting women globally. To belong to a strong network of women sharing their stories through the web 2.0.
Though by training, I am a gender officer, being a voice of our correspondent will help me accomplish my personal vision of becoming a successful gender analyst. This is because the training and the correspondent opportunity will provide the opportunity and exposures to information and reports on various issues facing women globally. Being a voice of our correspondent will be wonderful experience because it will improve my analysis technique as I will be treating different topics affecting women ranging from gender based violence, fertility and reproductive health, trafficking, early marriage. HIV/AIDS, Inheritance rights to harmful traditional practices like widow rites, Genital mutilation etc. this will help me achieve my personal vision of being a gender analyst.
Finally being a voice our future correspondent will provide me the necessary career advancement that I require towards the fulfillment of my personal vision.
