New York, New York

Windy New York received us with clouds and rain upon our arrival. Cold weather and rain were omnipresent. But not everywhere in the city. Not in 1071 57th Street near 2nd. Ave. in Manhattan, where the hearts of a beautiful bouquet of women from around the world got together on Thursday 4th to meet for the first time, face to face.

All the excitement and the words of joy, the never ending hugs and the surprise in our eyes for every detail that we had not seen in each other through our online friendship were infinite. The first one I saw at the airport was Sunita, and then Malaya came to meet us directly in the aprtment.

My heart was pounding fast when I saw this elegant young lady, more beautiful in person than what I could see online, and she told me she was Jensine, the one who had the talent, the inspiration and the resilence to make this web of women come to life and thrive. Meeting Ellie, her assistant, her sister, her buddy, was like watching a toy train go beautifully through the little mountains of the game. What can the leading train coach carry if the other coaches in the line were empty? Very little indeed. Ellie and Jensine are quite a team. They are leading the train of the VOF tour through a safe and beautiful journey.

I am part of the Pulse, definitely. I am awed at the hard work these two women do every day so that the VOF tour will be a success. I am honored to be here, with them, with World Pulse, I am living it up to the top, and I am... REPORTING LIVE FROM NEW YORK!

Thank you Ellen Wingard for the cozy dinner of reception and for supporting World Pulse to make it a reality. Thanks also to the World Pulse team who were working hard to make us feel at home in the Big Apple.
