Active life = Women too busy, Men in rest?

My Journal's name is Active Life. My first post's title intends to be somewhat agressive. It intends to make you think about your gender. Being a woman is pretty busy, right?. It is your ACTIVE LIFE that I want to talk about. Are you happy with it? Do you think it is fair for you to work at home, to work at the office or outside your home and at the same time take care of your children? Do you have elderly parents who also demand your work? Does your community demand your participation too? About 90% of women around the world will answer affirmatively to at least three of these questions.

Today's ACTIVE LIFE has begun in the 50s, when women acquired a sexual liberty never known before, and men were astonished, but delighted, with the results. Of course they were delighted! who wouldn't be?. Finally women were easier to get, easier to leave and they wanted to work to make money too (they read: women want to put money in their homes, so man can spend more in whorehouses, lovers, beer and have more 'free time' for themselves).

The results are seen today: about 80% of our mothers were divorced at least once or were single mothers, who could not raise children properly. As the society in general was not ready to cope with so many children without a father in their lives, 40% of baby boomers' generation have not succeeded raising families. Last result: one out of seven adults (sons, daughters or grandchildren of baby boomers) in the US does not know how to read and write: they are illiterate! We, as mothers, did not have the guidance of a mother at home who was capable of raising kids properly (she was too busy working), and did whatever we could. Now we teach our siblings they should not have a family until they are capable of certain tasks, we teach them birth control and we tell them to have two kids at most.

Does this sound like your reality too? Do you feel any of this is true? Do you feel any of this is false?
This is the beginning of a discussion I would like to start. And here are some questions for all of you: What have women won in their placing in society through sexual liberation? What have they lost? What have the men won? What have they lost? What is the result for society?

For the first time ever, working women in the US will be more than men this year. If this means most of the working women are supporting their families, where are men in the meantime? What are they doing? What are their tasks?

Gender equality has been more indulgent with women... or with men?

Let me know your points of view! Maybe I am the only one who can see this reality.

PS. The numbers I quote here were given today by CNN. If this happens in the US, imagine what it is like in the rest of the world.
