I further congratulate Jennifer and the entire world pulse theme for their relentless efforts to see this program reach this stage. I still in shock ! when I read your mail with my name included as a correspondent, I started to cry, first of all because it was unbelievable to me to be part of this ... then ... well, to say the truth I felt sad, thinking in all those brave woman who was disappointed ...

I have crossed feelings … it feels great and at the same time, it feels like a little unfair, because all women that I knew in this road deserved to be "great future voices" ... I know that the decision was hard … Thanks from my heart for give me this huge responsibility ...

And well ... yet I still thinking that I will find some of my "peace correspondents" among the voices that I read in Pulse Wire during this amazing adventure ... so … nothing is closed… we have so much things ahead to work together

Congratulations to all of you, not only to the Correspondents… I mean congratulations TO ALL (ALL OF YOU) I send you my total admiration for your courage and inspiration

And Jensine, Jennifer, and the entire crew of Pulse Wire… I have no words enough to describe my gratitude, not only for the gift that I am now receiving, but most of all, for the huge gift that you are offering to this world by creating this.

A peaceful kiss and a bear hug from Mexico to all of you, in each country :-) xthina " )

I join the community to honor those who managed to be correspondents for World Pulse. Let us all work for the benefit of the world regardless of our positions. Together we shall.

This is one of the greatest GIFT I have ever received in my life. May 6 was my birth day and this happens to be the day when the pulsewire correspondent’s names were announced. To my amazement I am one of the chosen.

I would like to thank God for the strength and all of the Pulsewire members who have encouraged, inspired and corrected me. My thanks also go to Jennifer and the team for the effort they have made to ensure that they connect us to local organizations for internet access.

For those who did not make it, my wish is that they should not give up, we have come a long way, and we started this together, we should end this together until we see a light at the end of the tunnel, we all have to continue sharing our ideas, stories on pulsewire until our goals and dreams are achieved and fulfilled.

God be with you all and best of luck to all those chosen.

hi guys, im glad for everyone that made it and i know that they deserve being chosen but it doesnt stop me from feeling disappointed that i didn't make it but i am holding on to the belief that, that is not the path i am supposed to thread and sooner or later i will get there but i will still hang out with the world pulser's cause i had a great time and i met great people.

I know what it feels like to be not chosen cos I wasn't chosen too. But funny, I feel happy still, even bubbly. I believe, you've already started your path to being a Correspondent a long time ago and you actually have the ability to train others as well (I read your posts :)) But I think, the VOF listeners will reveal their evaluation on us, right? That's what I understood from their post, so they could guide us more or tell us exactly what we missed. Anyway, we are both members of VOF Fans, we'll have more to share and continue what we've started.

smile big.

hugs, Katea

HI! I missed you comment about the Listeners or would have responded sooner. Doh!

We asked the Listeners to give feedback directly so that Applicants were getting it in real time (versus the future) and it would be helpful for the following assignments. Hopefully you received some helpful comments. If you are wanting more, maybe you could reach out to Listeners/Applicants/members that commented on your assignments.

Hi! I understand how you feel - but please don't be dissappointed - I have an article posted in my journal " We are All Winners!" and I hope you can take a glimpse on it. Beloved Pulse wire team I opened my email on 06.05.09 at around 10 a.m. and the first message i opened was from pulsewire. I sat frozen on my desk with my heart beating like an African drum.

I wanted to shout, scream and jump with joy but my boss was sitting less than a metre away from my desk. I contained all the joy that i had and fowarded the email to her account. At this point i felt like i could explode with joy. I stood up, took off my high heeled shoes, screamed and jumped up and down with joy. THANK YOU Pulsewire team for honouring me.

Indeed, the past month has been an exciting journey for me. I almost lost hope when i struggled to have access to the internet and a computer so that i could post my last assignment.

I am humbled by your faith in me and this has given me confidence. I also congradulate the other Correspondents and everyone who participated in this exciting journey. Without them it would not have been an exciting journey. I have learned so much from all the raising voices. I strongly believe that each voice was strong and i encourage everyone to stay online.

Thank you once again and i look forward to unleashing my potential.

Warm regards,

Gertrude Pswarayi

To all my dear readers , listeners and the VOF Community,

What a wonderful world we got here! Women full of love, strength , imspiration and courage. Congratulations to all of us! I read the email of dear Jennifer to me last night - just i got home from a very tiring day running to and fro on my preschooler summer art workshop , meetings , facilitating a guy having a land dispute problem to a lawyer friend while attending all the needs and demands of my 5 year old daughter who is with me all day long. Whew! No more enegy . I opened my email after feeding my daughter's dinner and with her on my side , i read Jennifer's email. I looked at the list of the 30 successful applicants and Voila! my name is there . What a gift for me, for my family and to the Filipino women and children! It took me seconds to react and all i joyfully said to my daughter and sister- I made it! I can't believe , I made it! My daughter was so excited to hear what it is all about and cheered up with me then.

My gratitude to all my readers and my listeners who inspired me in their comments. thank you so much for the time and the care. I am deeply touched by your comments and from the very core of my heart I thank you all for making me a part of this journey. It's a mixed feeling of joy and anxiety because of the corresponding responsibility ahead of me. But I feel honored for trusting me this huge task of multiplying and echoing the women's voices of pain , desperation and hopelessness to be voices of courage, hope and determination for the love of country. Thank you all , especially the evaluators and the listeners for giving me that trust and belief to be a PulseWire correpondent. How I wish I could write everyday to every member of our community and drop inspiring note to keep us going. I'm inviting you to drop by my journal - i miss you all !

best regards, malayapinas

Just by you being here on PulseWire Ethiopia is gaining something of value as are the members of this community. It will truly be a loss for all if such a strong woman from Ethiopia does not continue to connect with the community. PulseWire was created for you and continues to be here for you.

We hope you will come back - we are eager for more your of voice!

Congratulations to everyone who made it as a correspondent. I am personally very happy to have nominated as a runner up. I am waiting for my assignment week very eagerly. We are all a part of Pulsewire now and I know this group is going places. The journey had just begun for all of us. We all can make our dreams come true, we are all in this together.

Thank yo for this honour. The irony is whe it came, just as I was starting to reply, the power went off. We have had erratic power supply since Tuesday, and I just wanted to take this short respite with power available to express my appreciation. I hope we will continue to be in touch with the rest of the members who were motivated enough to apply for the Voices of our Future.

Take care Martha

The struggle chose me and made me who I am.

To the Voices of our Furture applicants, listeners and PulseWire,

Thank you first of all for the opportunity to be a part of this great application process. Secondly, a great BIG congratulations to the correspondents chosen!!!

I look forward to seeing how this all turns out. It's been a fun and learning experience I would not trade for anything.

Blessings & Peace, Rose Of Sharon

Hi all VOF Correspondents!

It has been a very interesting journey, getting to meet each other and reading one another's posts! I am sure all of us are correspondents in one way or another, but in different categories in the same forum.

For those who have been listed,a big KARIBU.For those who have not been, let us continue together!

Mujeres adelante!

Hugs, Leah.

It has been a nice feeling to get chosen and I didn't know what to say for a couple of days... It was a feeling of a dream. I pinched myself and said - ok it is real! It is a great honor and chance for being selected and I hope to keep the flame!

Thank you for being in my world!

With best wishes, Victoria

So today i finally can tell how I feel.

First, I did not know what to think. On 6th I was numb while opening my mail. I'm really happy that i have another chance to destiny--to learn and be inspired by the many that i have met and will continue to meet. TO BE HEARD. This is what I love. Its more fulfilling than facebook!!! Congratulations to all who were selected and to the runners up and to all participants. We all did our best and we cannot stop now. There is a plan for everyone here and I hope the Pulse team will continue to give such opportunities to more people in the future.

I am humbled by the pulse team for their input to my posts and for listening. It feels great to talk to people i have never met, people from around the globe. I can't wait to see what the future holds. I take the challenge ahead and will continue to put out my best.

To partners in the cause... let the fight continue.

Finally, I am proud of myself for the time I took. It was not easy, but having 'the end in mind' drove me here. I need that drive all the way...

I am so glad to read that you will continue to hang out with us.

About the evaluation: we asked the Listeners to give feedback directly so that Applicants were getting it in real time (versus the future) and it would be helpful for the following assignments.
