Correspondents: You Received a Standing Ovation!

Dear Correspondents -
I have been traveling quite a bit to speak around the country and share the vision of World Pulse and Voices of Our Future, and it has been a challenge as well to find time to write!. But you are always in my heart, and I am reading your stories daily.

I wish you had all been there this weekend to hear the applause wash over you, see over 300 people jumping from their chairs clapping and cheering to celebrate your voices, and your work as correspondents. I was speaking in New York at an Omega Women and Power Conference, and I told the audience about your courageous stories, all the obstacles you face to come online, to overcome your inner doubts and speak out for your communities and lives all over the world. HUGE CHEERS!

(also - it was a highlight moment to be speaking next to Gloria Steniem, with my mother in the audience! Wow!!)

Many women also came up to me afterwards who had been touched because I also shared with the audience my own fears, and my own shyness that I had to overcome as a young girl, and still overcome, because speaking in public is a challenge for me. I realized that when you share your fears, everyone can relate to you - because we all have them. It is all worth it to see the inspiration on the faces of so many women who are so proud of ALL OF YOU, who are eager to come online to PulseWire and connect, and become a part of the PULSE of women's voices rising across the earth.

Congratulations to each and every one of you as we come closer to the completion of this first program. Your OpEds, your frontline journals are STUNNING. Each one inspires me, and every woman who reads them. They are all the more powerful knowing how many obstacles and pressures you face to complete them. These stories are just the beginning. We are building World Pulse day by day to increasingly lift your voices to millions over the next few years, and ultimately, to the halls of power - UN, Parliaments, conferences, and mainstream media desks, where they can influence shifts in policy.

Yes, we are THAT powerful when our voices come together in a collective force. Stay tuned for more news and developments as we grow together.

All my love and admiration,
Jensine
