Dear Correspondents,

As I look over the list of your names -- our thirty-one newest, inspiring 2013 Correspondents -- I am overjoyed. A huge congratulations to each and every one of you! Your hard work, dedicated passion and powerful voices have demonstrated that you are the VOICES OF OUR FUTURE!

It is just the beginning of a five month adventure that I know will bring you the skills and tools to amplify your voices, and create a network amongst you that will last for years to come.

Your stories and your visions are critical in moving our world towards a sustainable future. Your courage helps me to strengthen my resolve to do all I can in the coming years to continue to lift your stories to millions of people around the world—from global decision makers to our local communities. Together we are creating a pulse of empowerment that will enrich our lives, lift our communities, and unleash a wave of rising women leaders that has the power to build a better world for the next generation.

You represent 27 countries, and millions of voices of women and young girls. I encourage you to get the most out of this training that you can. Give us an earful! Believe in your voice; believe in your visions—because we believe in you.
