Polygamy, a treasure?

I am just sad and concerned about one Kenya's Former MP Hon. Raphael wanjala. I differ a lot with his definition of a 'true African son of the soil'. According to him, a true man should have several wives surrounding him, women he can get whenever he wants. He even uses US President Obama's father as a real respected man because he had many wives. He was defending his tainted public image about an affair he has with someone else's wife.
\"Kenyatta had five wives. The father of US president Barack Obama had several wives. I can marry as many wives as I want,\" this was part of his speech.

But does he know that those polygamous people that he crowns lived in another century totally different from what we have today? Hey, guys, do you share the same sentiments of turning women in to 'objects'?

I am sad... very sad.
