Hi everyone,

To the team at WorldPulse, I thank you for this beautiful opportunity. To my fellow correspondents, you have been so supportive and very inspiring.

This post serves two purposes. The first, was to express gratitude. The second follows.

Recently, a woman was murdered in my country. We have challenges with domestic violence but the murder rates linked to GBV are under 5 a year. Yet 1 is too many. Most times, I do not know the persons. Yet it is difficult to face. This time, the perpetrator ended up being someone I know.

Though we were not close in recent times, the news has left many persons speechless.

I took to Facebook for answers and asked people to do what they could to stop incidences of domestic violence before it got to this stage again.

A woman sent the following account to me and said I could publish it.

So I am sharing this last post, although not necessarily an article, and ask you to all keep in touch.

Your comments and usual sharing are welcomed as I would like to pass those onto her her as well. This, I know, was a huge step.

Thanks again for allowing me to have this space to be a voice for the voiceless.

Blessings to you all.

Juliette
