Keeping Hope Alive in Somalia

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Hawa Abdi from Somalia. If you haven't already read her bestselling memoir, \"Keeping Hope Alive,\" I highly recommend it. It tells the beautiful journey of a young Muslim woman, a doctor, who becomes a peaceful leader in her community. Today, her nicknames range from “Mama Hawa” to “Mother Theresa meets Rambo.” At one point, Abdi’s makeshift village sheltered 1% of the Somalia’s population, around 90,000 people. Abdi is now a Nobel Peace Prize nominee.
