Pakistan -- one inhuman act -- a national tragedy

I am posting this on behalf of a friend from Pakistan. I offer it as insight into what is happening there and elsewhere in the world. Linda

an assassin so callously aims at an individual and destroys life.........

not realizing that this one inhuman barbaric act will be the assassination of collective dreams hopes and bring in anarchy for many innocents........

such is the nature of an unfeeling illiterate and base human........

the tragedy is of a monumental national nature not only because a great woman leader was assassinated but because this was the window dissidents with personal agendas were looking for......

this incident opened up avenues for lawless selfish people to rampage burn loot and create chaos.the so called political leaders were given an opportunity to play the province card dividing the country mercilessly and slandering the name of the nation internationally.it also encourages international bigwigs with vested interest in the region an excuse to invade Pakistan as they voice their agenda of insecurity in the region.......

and the fact that the corrupt husband of the assinated individual has created a political hegemony by taking over the political arena as if politics is an inheritance........

does he not realize that leaders are people with personal and collective strength and commitment,they are individuals with dedication to the people and knowledge and vision beyond the chair and power they have..........

my country is challenged by anarchy, pain and corruption and very few really have the courage to bring it out of this turmoil.we are at this juncture in need of honest patriotic leadership and it is not to the existing hierchy that we look or find.......

as I watch the fires ....

the scarcity of electricity....

the lines of people wanting one bag of flour.....

the uncertainty of a fair election and who will come to the rescue of the real people my heart is saddened but I hold on to hope as I look at the youth of Pakistan.

it is imperative to resolve the political mayhem and redefine the political structure.it is now that we re-assess our understanding of politics......it is today that we prioritize our allegiance to our country and not to a legend or name........

we burn a candle of hope for a future.........

we keep the flame alive for it is our home that we give light to...
