Another Rafiki Donation

Dear Rafiki

I hope that you are all having a wonderful time sharing with your Rafiki in Kenya in this empowering program.

I wish to announce to the members of the Rafiki Club that on 17th August 2009 received,Project Africa a donation of USD 375 from MotherKind Network an organization founded by our dear sisters and rafiki Darcey and Valery.

This donation was part of funds raised during the event hosted by MotherKind Network earlier in June of which Darcey has reported on http://www.worldpulse.com/node/11980.

Together with the Donation to the Rafiki Club, Rafiki Darcey and her team leads in the recruitment of new rafiki members into the club having introduced at least 10 new members so far.

On behalf of Project Africa, I would like to say a big thank you to Darcey and Valery for every effort they have made to push forth the vision of Rafiki Club that aims to empower women with literacy through Global friendships.

Meanwhile, Rafiki CandyChris has also been able to raise at least 280 Euro for the rafiki Club. Candychris who has been a committed contributor to the Rafiki program, raised the funds during her birthday where she asked guests to contribute towards the program in place of gifts and presents to her.

This is kind show of how being selfless can allow us to make a difference even when we think there is nothing we can do or give.

I am blessed to have you all being a part of the Rafiki club that gives hope to women in rural Kenya.

Long live Rafiki Club! Long Live the women in AFRICA. The future is bright with hope

My gratitude and Blessings
