The Sacred Place Where Life Begins | Gwich'in Women Speak screenings

After long three years, my short documentary "The Sacred Place Where Life Begins | Gwich'in Women Speak" is finally done! In this film, women of the Gwich’in nation speak out to protect what they call “The Sacred Place Where Life Begins” from oil development. Also known as the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the Gwich’in way of life depends on this sacred land. The women share their unique perspectives on this environmental issue and inspire audiences around the world to action.

My goal is to screen the film at as many film festivals and events around the country and the world as possible. Please contact me with opportunities to screen and distribute the film.

Here are two film festivals where my film will be screening:

October 2013

Native Spirit Film Festival - 10:30 p.m. Wednesday October 16th, 2013 at School of Oriental and African Studies - London, United Kingdom

November 2013

American Indian Film Festival -  12 p.m. Saturday November 2nd, 2013 at Delancey Street Theater - San Francisco, USA

If you are in the area, please come watch the film to hear voices of Gwich'in women.

Thank you!
