I just came across a really awesome organization that focuses on women's rights called International Civil Society Action Network (ICAN).
The ICAN staff consists of experienced trainers in women’s rights, peace and security issues, particularly the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325. ICAN offer workshops that are tailored to the specific needs of NGOs, the UN and governments; have extensive experience in action and policy oriented research and analysis; and undertake independent programme evaluations and assessments.
Adopted in October 2000, the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 addresses the important role of women and their participation in peace negotiations and in post-conflict reconstruction.
ICAN launched its "What the Women Say" video series focused on Egypt.
Click here to watch the video. There's only one clip as of now, but I'm sure there's more to come.
