Can I call this VOTE BUYING?

Its really interesting during political campaigns in Ghana. When the country is faced with econimic hardships accompanied high graduates/youths unemployments, energy crises, and high utility charges, the two major political parties (National Democratic Congress(NDC) ànd New Patriotic Party(NPP)) are busily sharing items worth over billions of Ghana cedis in exchange of vote.
How do i call this exchange? Should i say "Vote Buying" or the primitive "Barter Trade"? Or a modern day "Electoral Campaign? Since childhood I've heard of such a trade but never had my eyes seen one untill this December 2016 elections. Political campaigns have seen trades of household items, groceries, Clothings and machineries all with the aim of canvassing for vote. Some even go to the extends of giving out physical cash to electorates for their vote. What a country? What leaders are we voting into power? ..hhhmmmmmm my heart ponders

On the side of the electorate this has been the usual tradition. No money no Vote! Four years ago, i happen to have met some party fellowers publicly singing in their local dilect "Yennpe free education yepe nhwesambo" meaning "we dont want free education but rather aluminium pans" as depicted in the cover. Whaaat? Rolled my eye balls and asked myself "like seriously?" This is the worst i could ever hear. This means people are persuaded by the items and cash they recieve from these political parties. One would ask, could that influence the elections results? Definately yes, because would no more be interested in political manifestos and messages but rather items and cash to be recieved

In a country where political leaders spend billions of cedis all in the name of political campaigns, it also tells you that he who that invest much in it takes up the ultmate position. The roads to transport food stuffs from the hintherlands are dangerous, people still drink from polluted streams and rivers, Health insuarnce to care for the sick is becoming more devastating, pupils sit under tree as classrooms, the cedi is is struggling against its major trading currencies etc what are you doing to address these issues should be our worry. So that these hungary unemployed youths dont become agent of political violence. This should be our as a country.

Im still confused how do I call this "Vote Buying" or "Barter Trade" or "21stC political campaign" ?
