WOMAN: Hitch Your Wagon to A Star

I am from a Third World country, but that didn't prove a deterrent to setting a goal and aiming high for myself. As the old adage says, "Hitch your wagon to a star". I was lucky enough to be sent to a good school and get a quality education, thanks to my able parents. Despite getting a university degree, I still feel empty. Enough of me, myself and I. I know I am geared towards a calling to make a difference in the lives of children, most especially young girls who are hungry for knowledge and learning. My purpose and passion are to educate women for it's our birthright to be our most powerful self. I just can't let them rot in a pile of garbage. It may sound like an insurmountable feat but through our concerted efforts, it can be done. A pencil and paper will go a long way. A little compassion won't hurt. So this is my call to join hands and help in raising the lives of women. Make them realize that a woman isn't brought into this world to be in the solitary confines of her home. She has all the right to explore the world basking under her own greatness. And with a renewed smile on her face as if saying, "Look out World, I am Woman, I am Me..."
