VOF Week 1: (Web 2.0: The light).

As we can see from the definition of Web 2.0 that it can tie a group of people by sharing information, opinion, stories, ideas, and other subject as they like. There is a legend in Bangladesh that “what it is impossible for one person that can be an easy work for a group of people”. For that, Web 2.0 can be strong way of making a great community. It is proved by many sites like ‘Pulse Wire’ which helps people to be together. It is a thread that can let people know about other new people. If we analyze it from different views there will be more points that can be includable but the strength the group of people in one believe is very important for other to be encouraged which can be done by Web 2.0.

I am a simple girl, form a little corner of a developing country, who always seeking to meet new people from different place, has a dream of changing the world as a peaceful haven, Web 2.0 is an incredible opportunity. It is kind of a blessing because when I see my writings are commented by a woman like me from other part of the world and very different than me. For example, I wrote about me in my ‘Pulse Wire’ journal I was very shy but the comment and friend requests tremendously encouraged me to write more and share my opinion. At that time I feel the importance of web 2.0 and it exited me a lot. When I read others many unknown stories and tell my other friends that time I feel that person is my nearest one. The most excites for me is the networking and supporting form others which encourage me a lot.

For solution I think if we use the web 2.0 in a positive way that people show the support and admire us. An acclaim can help to go ahead but it is impossible to meet everywoman to empower them what Web 2.0 is doing. From the view, encouragement helps me a lot I think it happens for other women so this will be a strong movement to get connected with other rural women and share our thoughts and encouraged them that we also can do.

I learnt to see my mother when she cries without having solutions and supports. It is empowering me when I see not only me but also other girls want the freedom. Their dreams can change the world. I feel I am not alone; many other women are also with me. I will not lose my way of struggling for a better life. I have got the way of changing the days of Bangladeshi women like my mother and I can remove their tears unless bring an adorable smile.

Over all it is unequivocal that Web 2.0 has a tremendous chance by not exploit the tie and give a tangible shape not only the hopeless women but also other global problems that threat our survival. I hope our little steps can be shown to the world through this Web 2.0. It is a light to find the way of successes.
