Words of an impoverished mother

I can only do what i can,
not knowing what today can bring.
I can only do little,
and hope for a better life.

My hands are wide,
yet i can only hold little.
My heart is filled with thought,
hoping and hoping.

Please help if you can,
i beg with so much hope,
please and please,
i need only little.
