Feature story angle

Dear all,

I have been a bit busy with work and family. There is little time left please give me a quick feedback.

The maternity healthcare in Kashmir is in bad shape. The two decades of conflict had really left the existing infrastructure shattered. It is just recently that things are looking to change a bit. But it will take a lot of time and effort to bring it back into good health.
Lad Led the major maternity hospital in Kashmir Valley (the only one catering exclusively to maternity), is overburdened many times over. Patients have to share beds; still many have to be content with space on dirty floors (though beds are not clean either). Labour room is a mess with which always looks like a emergency set up in a disaster struck area. Women in labour also have to share beds.
Corruption is crude and deep. Midwives, and nurses almost hold newborn to ransom for their tip. Nurses and hospital attendants treat you from filthily to badly according to the tip they get from you.

So ladies what do you think about a feature on the issue.

Looking forward to your feedback.

Waiting
Nusrat
