Web 2.0 Made my Life Easier

With a high rate of technology these days, web 2.0 has been a very powerful and useful tool when it comes to social media and networking on earth. It has made me be able to interact online with different people despite their distance as long as there is a reliable internet network. I find most important information that I can look for, for example when I use search engine like Google for a specified keyword it brings me a list of documents where the keywords were found. I am able to access publicly personal journal for my friends which are typically updated daily which also displays the personality of the author. It has helped me a lot to meet and make friends around the globe.
Web 2.0 has made life of the global women’s’ empowerment movement very easier because most women around the globe are able to connect, express and transform their digital video tools, online journals and can have global conversations as well as posting their videos e.g. on You Tube, concerning whatever is taking place in their particular countries/communities, and many women are able to read and comment on each particular story posted. They are able to introduce their projects, ideas, solutions and global audience and make their stories and projects which were silenced.
Web 2.0 has made me to be able to participate in the creation of content and interact with my fellow women around the globe online. It is helping women to have global conversations and with software like You Tube it make so easier and simple to edit and distribute videos on the events happening in my community and have my voice heard by people around the globe and receive their feedback and comments. It also helps me to meet new people and connect with friends and family especially on face book, twitter, linked in and Google, based on profession, geography, similar interests, age, race and gender and it makes get feedback quickly, share ideas keep up to date on my projects and organize a gathering or action in my community where I can write about my own life story, make friends, I have never met, upload photos and engage in dialogue about things that are important to me. Also I can speak out with women across the globe to challenge existing ideas or expose under – reported issues in my community. I am able to tell my story of abuse online which makes me participating in an action plan to denounce the violence being perpetrated against women throughout the world. Using the blog and digital media encourages people to attend protests whereby helping fuel a revolution.
