Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am currently involved in capacity building for african women scientists to fast track their careers so that their voices can be heard in management decision making levels.
The african women contributes to approx 80% of food production in sub saharan africa but very few are in positions where they can influence policy, technology. This needs to change if we are going to change the situation of poverty and hunger in Africa.

I am proud to be involved in this venture because we can already see what our program is doing for young women scientists whose confidence levels are increasing and therefore they are making their voices heard and are readily taking leadership positions in their institutions and the community.

My Passions:
Developing people at all levels and passing on information

My Vision for the Future:
Women are represented in senior positions on merit and they influece policy.

My Areas of Expertise:
Human resource management
