Dark Clouds

Everyday when I wake up in the morning,
I give thanks for another new day.
Another opportunity to contribute to making life better
...for at least one person with my all in the package.

Steeping into my new day with great expectation
The clouds have turned dark, very dark.. so I look above
Had difficulty seeing at all
This huge screen just stared from above

Then, at the twinkling of an eye
A ball of fire came crashing through
Glad was I...just a few inches
And that would have been ...

The human society has built structures
They were meant for expressing our heartfelt care for one another
Yet, these systems have become our doom
When will the dark clouds sift away?
When will the flag be hoisted for la femme?
