Introducing myself and my journal: Media Equals Communtiy

About Me:
I am passionate about promoting media initiatives for community transformation and development. As a result I co-founded and I am now chairperson of Center for Media Literacy and Community Development – CEMCOD , a non-profit organization out to transform communities through the promotion of both media and community led initiatives.

And as a believer in great ideas that shape our communities, I organise TEDx events in Kampala, Uganda. My first event was TEDxNakaseroWomen -2013 that provided a platform for women to share their unique ideas, innovations and experiences, contributing to the cause of women empowerment and development in Uganda. I got another women event lined up for May 2015.

I look forward to great interaction and conversations with everyone on the pulse community.
