Wrapping Up!

Dear Correspondents,

I can hardly believe it, but the end of our program is here. But every ending brings new beginnings and I know we will continue to see friendships and stories blossom. The tide of empowerment and social change is growing each day through your actions, and it has been amazing to be part of this journey with you. It has been life-changing for all of us involved, from mentors and midwives, to our staff at World Pulse. Thank you for sharing your stories, your passion and your ideas!

You still have a few hours left to turn in your digital stories, and we are looking forward to watching them! This is an important addition to our program this year, and we look forward to hearing your feedback in our reflection survey as well. We have sent the link for the survey in our latest email. Please fill it out by this Friday, May 4th. If you have any questions, or need any last minute assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

What do the next few weeks look like for all of us? This week, we will hold the wrap-up calls with you, as well as the Mentors and Midwives. This is an opportunity for you to share constructive feedback about the program--what worked well, and what could we improve? It's also an opportunity for you to share your stories about how the program impacted your life.

Between now and May 31st, our team will also be working to select the next Correspondents who will come to the US in the fall to participate in the World Pulse Live tour as ambassadors for World Pulse and the Voices of Our Future program. Three correspondents will have the opportunity to visit four US cities and share their unique messages, using the power of their voice and experience to bring awareness and support to the work of World Pulse, so that more women can be reached and trained.

We will be interviewing five Correspondents, selecting three to come on the tour and two to serve as runners up. If we could bring each and every one of you to the US we would! If you are not selected, please remember how important we believe each of your voices is! And remember, nearly 600 women from almost 90 countries applied for this program. The six months of training and mentoring you've received will be invaluable as you move your vision for social change forward.

In early June, we will announce the final Correspondents we've selected for the tour, as well as send out a wrap-up message detailing all the amazing success stories to come out of the program. Stay tuned!
