Can't reach your goal? So what...

The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach. B Mays

Dr. Benjamin Elijah Mays (August 1, 1894 – March 28, 1984) was an American minister, educator, scholar, social activist, and the president of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1940 to 1967. He was also a significant mentor to civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and was among the most articulate and outspoken critics of segregation before the rise of the modern civil rights movement in the United States. While serving as the Dean of the School of Religion at Howard University in Washington D.C. from 1934 to 1940, he traveled to India and spoke with Mohandas Gandhi, a highly respected equal-rights believer known all over the world; this meeting had a lasting impact on Dr. Mays.

So you have tried, but you are not able to reach your goal. You are disappointed and upset for a moment. Let it take not more than the moment as there are more important things for you feel than just the negative emotions. You have come far, the steps, the journey, the efforts have all actually gave you memorable experiences. With these, you grown and built you! You have learnt many things along the way that will see you through the years ahead. Setting another goal, something attainable is just next in course. So what have you to fret. The only thing to worry is when you got no goal at all. Nothing to work towards to. That's where the tragedy is because you have wasted your lifetime away...

So dear friend, do not worry about unable to achieve your goal this time round!
