New Comunnities for social change!!!!!

There was a time when our parents thought technology will completely alienate us. I remember futuristic movies where humans were connected to a universal brain and therefore would not need for language, and therefore would not have communication barriers, but no physical interaction. For many years, my generation grew up with these myths, and I know many young women who are reluctant to use phones or to create facebook accounts. I think this is a logical response to the large amount of media coming frome the so-called "first world", USA or Europe; I also think they are responding to a consumption culture.
But the truth is otherwise, the reality portraited by films became more complex.
Yes, I think there could be alienation with technology, especially in people with high possibility of consumption, but the vast majority of people around the world, where poverty and misinformation are the largest alienation of human kind, technology is the drop of information that can make a difference.
I think the process for the web 2.0 has been truly revolutionary. The word "share" was fully understood when we realized that publishing is not enough to give, is a dead form of reporting. When Web 2.0, and this new stage of interaction, relationship, begins to emerge is that we see real communities, where the most invisible became visible and collectivize: as LGBT people, as social movements, such as people never before listened or read.
I think the Web 2.0 makes the world look him in a different perspective, because it is creating communities where before there were individuals.
The addition of participatory Web 2.0 itself has been able to democratize knowledge, they can be users and producers of knowledge. Have a proper place of expression and fight, even from the farthest locations, even the most populated cities. What excites me most about Web 2.0 is its own mass, an example. The opportunity to meet women who think, work and strive for a better world, read, and contact with her through the exchange of ideas and experiences. To me this is to strengthen the women's movement, just social change. The struggle for a new world is not easy and there is no manual on how to do, how not decline, nor an ideology critique, at least not available to any woman. A few days ago a young woman who had recently given birth, wrote to the blog of La Mestiza, which has more than 3 years (http://lamestizacolectiva.blogspot.com/) and is a reference of information for many women in our city. This woman told us because reading the blog, the information gathered from the struggle of many women, gave her will to live, not to give up, but to keep forward.
Knowing that with web 2.0, you can inform, and interact to change the world ,has definitely changed my ways of doing politics and feminism, I was given the emphasis on "communicating" more and better, up close and warm. And that has made me stronger, and it is empowering me every day.
