Lots of good news about Self-defense

last year 2013 was a real breakthrough for me and my team of Women Empowerment Nepal, WEN. We met a wonderful lady, Ms. Edessa Ramos, self defense instructor from Switzerland around March 2013. We did series of self defense workshops and training here in Nepal with Edessa. We are also taking TOT, training of trainers, from Edessa and her husband Robert Alexander. We are conducting self defense training for school children, college girls, working ladies and community ladies with the tag line 'Self-defense for Safe and Free Society'. I have attached some photos of self-defense here.

Besides, WEN is working on Legal Literacy campaign, Increasing digital access to women (inspired by world pulse), providing education scholarships to needy students and also supporting some of mentally retarded children. It's really great to share all these to you people.

WEN is organizing an event "Voices of Women" on March 8, 2014 Saturday to mark the International Women's Day at Basantapur, Kathmandu, Nepal. The event comprises concert of renown Nepali female singers, cultural dances, food festival, art exhibition on women achievements, stalls from women entrepreneurs and women organization etc. The 'Voices of Women' will be unique opportunity to showcase the strengths of Nepali women and inspire more women to explore their caliber and express them. The event will serve as launching self-defense in mass level.
