Most people assume that the gender ratio difference at birth in India is owning to sex-selected abortion. However, I have been arguing that that is not so. That there is massive killing of girls under the age of 6 years which is why the government of India keeps the first age group as 0-6years. This lets the world believe all these "missing" girls were aborted.
