Appreciation Time for It's a Girl Thing

Here I am back again, but pleased get used to it as I intend to be back again and again.

I have been most impressed by two Worldpulse members who have suggested I contact another Worldpulse sister Ch Urmila, who has made a wonderful impact globally on breaking the stigma attached to the subject of menstruation. I am very pleased to say that I have been working with Urmila for a good few months now. On her recent educational trip to Uganda she was able to distribute FEMpads I had sent and get some important feedback for me, which was tremendously helpful and constructive.

I have just forwarded a second batch of FEMpad to Urmila which she will take on her next adventure when she visits rural villages in India to education woman on menstruation. What an incredible endeavour and I wish her much success with this. Once again, she will be taking a supply of FEMpads to distribute.

Now NONE of this would be possible without the support of Worldpulse sister, Yvette Austin Warren who made a most generous donation to enable me to purchase materials for the construction of FEMpads and for postage to many areas in the world. We are quite a trio.

I would also like to thank ALL the other people who have given donations, and to other people such as sister Jenger, who has offered to make a webpage for the promotion of It's a Girl Thing. I am so excited about this as I am rather technophobic and this will be such a great benefit.

Some of the replies to my journal have made requests for FEMpads for the women in their community but even though I have replied, have not given me details of where to send them, this saddens me.

So a MASSIVE thank you to all and speak again soon.
